Eudora, Goddess of the Rain

From throne of cloud and bird

Come and wash Earth free of pain

Though nothing you will gain

I hope compassion stirred

Eudora, Goddess of the Rain

With heart of love and not disdain

My plaintive pleas you’ve heard

Come and wash Earth free of pain

I sing to you this sad refrain

With tears, my vision’s blurred

Eudora, Goddess of the Rain

Man, with blood, the Earth did stain

Where hate and violence most occurred

Come and wash Earth free of pain

In kindness we will retrain

I give to you my word

Eudora, Goddess of the Rain

Come and wash Earth free of pain

Our beautiful Earth. Can we all share her peacefully, please…?!

Not for nothing am I called Wendy from ‘Peter Pan’. For ‘Artists4peace’ I flew high into the sky, and then beyond, higher than ever before. My paper and paints floating weightless with me (was slightly problematic trying to paint, but oh what a view). Well, it was a break from painting my little Spanish pueblo…

This is of course a fantasy (and no, I am not on drugs 🙂 ) but I hope my sentiment is NOT just a fantasy. Peace and love to you all!
