Kindness is all that really matters in life. You don’t have to love everyone you just have to be kind to all living things and peace and respect will automatically follow. There is no room for violence, or power over others, in kindness. Kindness comes directly from one’s heart and it’s always free.

Isn’t it amazing how beautiful livings beings are? We could concentrate on that, on how we are surrounded by amazing things. We could make sure that all living things are cared for and protected. Make sure they have what they need. We can stop taking their habitats, poisoning their food and water. We can be be careful and polite. Gorgeous landscapes, birds, animals, all sorts of beings are everywhere (everywhere we haven’t destroyed). But instead, we barely see the things around us, more so than ever with our eyes locked onto one screen or another. And as the beauty of our world passes ever farther into the background, as it disappears forever, we hardly notice. I think there’s something really wrong with that. I think there’s something really wrong with us.
November is the month of the glorious Jacaranda.
Wishing you all a great week filled with love and happiness!

Cantata in D major
Across the landscape
New vision of the world
Days of bliss and harmony ahead
As we reach out to each other with love and respect

I always talk to birds and trees, any animal I see, really. I say hello and tell them they are beautiful and that I appreciate them. With trees, when I hug them, I tell them to take what they need from me and to please pass along their strength and resilience to me. We exchange energy and blend. That makes sense to me since we are all made out of the same stuff, just put together differently.
One can get very sick of sunsets. At least, I can. It’s rare for me to find a sunset photograph exceptional. I find Silhouette Sunset exceptional and I can say that with impunity because it was captured by Mr FND and not me! He took it from a beach on the Akrotiri Peninsular in Crete, near to where we live. Looking at it makes me exceedingly peaceful.
